• Why do I need a website?

Your website works for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It doesn't sleep.
Whatever time, day or nite, that a customer wants to find some information about your business, they have access to it. In today's world, if you don't have a website, you are behind the times. Your website address can be placed on your business cards, letterhead, point of sale signage, mass mailings, etc. It's a non-stop commercial advertising your business. Ads in the phonebook or newspaper can be expensive and unchangeable. Your website can be updated with new information, weekly specials, new photos, a seasonal theme, etc. whenever you like. Phone Book ads remain the same for a whole year, you are limited with the amount of information you can add, and did I mention they are expensive! How do I know this? I worked for a phone book company for four years after I graduated from college.

When you hand out business cards, pens, post-it pads, etc... it's crucial that you have a website address on those items. A sharp and professional looking website is essential to moving forward and gaining an edge in today's competitive economy.

• How much time will it take before my website is done?

  It doesn't take very long to set up your initial design. We start by gathering information from you about your business and obtaining any logos or images you want incorporated into the design. We'll then send you a draft of your site design and get some feedback from you on what you may like or want to adjust. Once your site design is perfect, we'll then add all of your content and publish your website. The entire process could take as little as a couple weeks depending on the size of your site and what features you want and how involved you are in the process.

• How much will a website cost?

  What we charge varies greatly on what kind of a site you want and how much content you want to add. Generally, our sites range anywhere from $500 to $2500. Here is a general overview of our website pricing.

• What about a domain name and web hosting?

  DOMAIN NAMES: We can set you up with a domain name, no sweat. Just pick the one you want (as long as it isn't already taken) and we'll do all of the work for you. Our .com domain names are only $14 per year!

  WEB HOSTING: For your site to exist online, you need to have somewhere for your site to live. This is where webhosting comes in. We have various packages to fit your needs. The pricing for our hosting packages are based on 12 months of service. Check out our hosting packages & pricing here. Not sure which package to get? No problem. • Can I design a website myself, or would I be better off hiring someone to do it for me?

  If you have an extensive background in web page design/HTML and graphic design...and if you have the time, I'm sure you'd do a fine job creating your own site. But most people do not have the extensive knowledge needed, or even the spare time, to effectively create a website that will produce results for them and give their clients the features they need in a website. I wouldn't recommend tackling a web page yourself unless you have the forementioned skills. It can be quite a daunting task. Remember, this is your business' online identity. Your customers will be visiting your site. You want to leave a positive lasting impression so they will return in the future and also give you word of mouth advertising.

• How do I know how much traffic my site is getting?

  At your request, we can set you up with an extremely comprehensive, yet easy to understand, Analytics system. You'll be able to see where your visitors are coming from, what time of day they visit the site, how long they are on the site, what pages they visit the most, etc.

• How easy will it be to get a question answered or get my site updated?

  Getting a question answered or your site updated is very easy. Just contact us and we'll take care of your question/request. We do most of our business via email for various reasons. For one, changes can be sent to us in attachments as Word files (or simply in the body of an email), Word documents can be attached and sent to us to be converted to .pdf files, images that need to be added can simply be attached in an email. We also like email for archive purposes in that we can easily reference a past conversation or request. We keep EVERY email. That's hard to do with phone conversations.
